Mambot not working

mike_o 12 Sep, 2007
Hi, downloaded the new Chronoforms mambot v0.3 and installed it. But it says it is mambot v0.2 in the mambot installer view (in admin mode) that have been installed? Any way, I cant get the new mambot to work with the validation. The javascrpit is there but will not validate the form.<br><br>Post edited by: mike_o, at: 2007/09/12 23:23

Hi Mike_o,

Sorry, that's one for Max when he's back.

Out of interest does the form validate OK in stand-alone form?

Yes the form validate perfect in stand-alone mode.

Hi Mike_o,

I had a quick look at I think that perhps the little script aftr the form isn't running properly. There's a typo in there 'valiate' for 'validate' but I don't think that can be the problem.

Sorry can't be more help than that without digging much deeper. Hopefully Max will have some sugggestions.

Hi Mike,

The issue is that the fader module uses another javascript library which interferes with the javascript libraries used in the Form validation, the file name used in the fader module is : jquery.js

Currently I have no idea how to prevent this from happening but the best isn't to use this module in the same page as the form!!

Cheers

Hmmmm, are you using the latest version of the mambot - V0.3 ?

If yes then I think the bot has a bug with the validation, a new version should be available very soon!!

Cheers

I have downloaded the latest version from your site On this link

But when I install it, it says that it´s V0.2 ? In the install mambot view (in admin mode). Is it possible to install it manually?
