Using v4 rc1.7, the checkboxes in the forms manager have no effect: after selecting a form and clicking one of the buttons (edit, create table, etc), a message appears saying "please first make a selection from the list". Also, the check/uncheck all checkbox in the upper part doesn't do anything. This happens on both firefox and explorer. I'm using joomla 1.62. Any ideas?
Thanks!
EDIT: in firefox error console, when I click on one of the checkboxes an error appears: "IsChecked is not defined" (index.php:1). Also if it matters, I'm running joomla locally with wamp server.
Hi Echo,
Go back to joomla version 1.6.1 I have the same problem white a live site and chronoform version is V4 RC1.7 for joomla1.6
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this issue, I have fixed it in the new RC1.8 just released!🙂 so it should work fine now with J1.6.2

It works now, thank you 🙂
This issue has reappeared in V4 RC3.5.2.1_J3.0 (Joomla 3.01) under both Chrome and IE9. I've not tried Firefox.
Also, the Easy Wizard opens full screen and elements cannot be dragged to a form.
Any chance of a quick fix?
Hi roddymatheson,
I just got my version installed. It looks OK in FireFox IE & Chrome so far.
Are you seeing any JavaScript errors??
Bob
Nope nothing at all. It just doesn't seem to be detecting that an item is ticked at all.
In addition to that I can't display a form in an article as I used to on 2.5 sites using the plugin and the <chronoform> tags. Is there a different way of going it on Joomla 3?
Hi roddymatheson,
Sorry, I misunderstood. When I check the right thing I get the same error as you do :-(
Bob
Do you also have a problem displaying the form in an article?
Any thoughts about how to fix it?
Hi roddymatheson,
Max is taking a look at the Select problem.
I don't see a plug-in or module upgraded to Joomla! v3.0 so I guess that we stall have to wait for those.
Bob
I'm encountering the same issue: I am running Chronoforms 4.0 RC2.0 on top of Joomla CMS 2.5.8 and cannot edit any forms in Forms Manager. Here is some interesting behavior: When I first get into Forms Manager, all of the icons appear just below the Forms Manager, Form Wizard, Easy Form Wizard and Validate Installation tabs. The icons are New, Copy Form, Edit, Delete, Create Table, Show Data, Backup Forms and Restore Forms. However, all of the "Tables Connected" drop down fields for each of my existing forms is blank. When I try to edit the form itself or point the form to a Table in from the Tables Connected drop down field and click on the form to edit the form, the screen refreshes WITHOUT the aforementioned icons under the tabs. The only icons that appear are Save & Close, Save and Cancel. Any thoughts? I have no way to edit my current forms. Scary. Thanks.
Hi InstiGATOR,
This is probably not the same issue as this thread was about problems with Joomla! 3.0.
I suggest that you backup your database tables and take backup copies of your forms and then upgrade ChronoForms to the current release for Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5 to see if that resolves the problem.
Bob
Hi
Is there a solution to the select item issue? I have the latest version of Joomla 3.0 and Chronoforms installed. The bug makes it impossible to create table from forms manager.
Roger
Hi Roger,
Max has a new release in preparation that has a fix for this (I installed it yesterday and the Create Table works OK). I expect it to be released soon, or you can ask him for a copy using the Contact Us link above.
