Internet Explorer 7 problem

tsili 15 Apr, 2011
Hi,

I am using Chronoforms_J1.6_V4_RC1.7 with Joomla 1.6.2 (just installed it). The forms are inside articles using Chronoforms_V4_RC1.5_Plugin for Joomla 1.6.x posted here: http://www.chronoengine.com/forums.html?cont=posts&f=26&t=21113&hilit=plugin+1.6&start=30#p66969.
My forms work just fine under Firefox, Chrome and Safari but when I try with IE8, Custom Elements and Select Boxes won't show up until I press the Submit button. Any encountered this? Is it a known IE8 bug?

Cheers,
Yiannis

Hi Yiannis,

All fields show up fine here in my IE8, try to remove your custom element and see if it fixes the issue, maybe it has a faulty code

Hi,

Thanx for the reply! I am sorry, I had 'compatibility view' switched on.
You are right, it works fine on IE8 but the problem exists in IE7.
Have you checked it there?
Also, can you please change the title to 'Internet Explorer 7 problem'?

Thanx,
Yiannis

The problem does not exist anymore in IE7 with the new versions of Chronoforms and Joomla (Chronoforms_J1.6_V4_RC1.8 / Joomla 1.6.3) and when linking to the form directly from a menu and not using the Chronoforms plugin.
This issue can be closed.

Cheers,
Yiannis
