Hi,
I tried the new ChronoForm 4 but I'm not able to use any drag and drop feature.
Doesn't work neither in FireFox4 nor in Internet Explorer 9.
Joomla 1.5
What can I do?
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tomx.
In Joomla! 1.5 you must have the MooTools Upgrade plug-in enabled.

Hi Tom,
I'm afraid that it sounds as though there is some other JavaScript conflict in the Admin area.
FireFox 4 works OK with ChronoForms v4 in my experience; there are known problems with IE9 - an incompatibility between IE9, Joomla! and MooTools v1.2.4 - but you can avoid these by opening the Web Devleoper Tools with F12 and then switching to Browser Mode: IE8. That's inconvenient but usable.

Hi ricardoalves ,
It's working OK here with Joomla! 1.5.23 on IE9 running in IE8 Browser mode*.
From a quick check IE9 in IE9 Browser mode is still broken. Chrome & Safari seem to be OK with this combination.
Bob
* Click F12 to get the Web Developer toolbar to change browser mode.

Hi, I'm having the same problem.
I am Joomla! 1.5.23
V4 of Chronoform
Mootools 1.2.5
Dragging elements just highlights them. The cursor changes to a drag icon but nothing else.
I have tried FF 4.0; Chrome; IE9; IE9 in IE8 Browser mode.
Is there anything else I can try?
thanks for your help.

Hi pc resolver,
Please post a link to the form so we can take a quick look.

Thanks for the quick response.
There is no form because I have been unable to create one. I was wondering if an existing component was causing a conflict so I had a look to see what I didn't need. I went to uninstall Joomfish and it broke the site (white screens on the home page and admin page). I restored to a previous backup (Joomla! 1.5.20) and tried Chronoforms under Joomla! 1.5.20 and Mootools 1.2.4 but the same problem - not able to create a form.
I updated again to .23 and tried to manually uninstall Joomfish but managed to break the site again.
I have now restored and updated.
I can give you login credentials if you like? What level do you need? Please PM or email as you prefer.
Thanks again

Hi pc resolver,
By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.

Thanks Bob, I've PM'd you the info you need.
I have created a new site with 1.5.23 and Mootools 1.2.5 and V4 of CF and all is OK. Must be an incompatible component/plugin I guess?

Hi PC Resolver,

Rokbox throws a wobbly when the MooTools Upgrade Plug-in is enabled and that breaks all the JavaScript:
(new Element("div", {id: cls + "-wrapper", class: cls + "-" + this.options.theme})).inject(document.body).setStyles({position: "absolute", zIndex: 65555, opacity: 0}).hide is not a function
[Break On This Error] eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(...up|bottom|h2|block'.split('|'),0,{})) Bob
Thanks for that. I've tried disabling Rokbox but still no joy. I assume that's where your code comes in?
Please forgive my ignorance, but what do I do with it? If you could be polite and tell me where to put it?!

Hi PC Resolver,
Sorry, that's just the error message that FireBug shows. (I'm not sure why RokBox would be loaded in the admin area though.)
Did you re-enable the MooTools Upgrade plug-in?
Bob

Fixed! Re-enabled Mootools after disabling Rokbox and I can at least start to create a form. I assume everything will be OK now.
BTW, I took the time to install CF V4 on another site with Rokbox and it worked with Rokbox enabled! Same versions of Joomla and CF. It was a newer site with fewer components (no Joomfish for instance!).
Totally impressed with your help (especially on a bank holiday). You can expect a tip in your tip jar!
