Hope you can help. Using Chronoforms currently - love it. Really great component.
I am now having problems with a plugin I had installed and wondered if you have had experience with it or know what the problem might be:
Its Infograf's "Multilingual Registration Approval" that now doesnt seem to work. Same happens with JoomlaXi's "Admin Approval" - both of which are supposed to enable Admin authorisation of new user registration under J1.5.

Sorry I've never used (or even heard of) either module :-(
You don't say which version of Joomla! you are using but is it possible that there is a version incompatibility somewhere?

Oops - sorry - yes, am on J1.5.22 🙂
Shame you haven't heard of the two extensions, they aren't at all common looking at their listings on joomla.org. As you say, probably a version incompatibility somewhere. Darn, obviously Chronoform isnt going anywhere so I'll have to ditch the other two.
(A bit of a flyer here, but there's nothing in Chronoform is there that will do what these two extensions will do? That is reconfigure the registration procedure so that Admin has to manually authorise new users before their account is active.)

Hi Jon,
I think that you could to that. Set up a normal Registration form but leave the vlink out of the email. That way the user can't self-verify but has to be enabled by an admin.
If you still want the email verification then you could use a custom vlink (actually a ChronoForms link) that updated a table or sent an email to the admin when it was clicked.

I'm sorry to hassle you further on this. Its probably v simple and I'm being a numpty.
Have removed the {vlink} so just have a message saying "We'll verify you asap etc"
How is it that I would manually verify prospective users? :?
