Hello,
THANK YOU for the awesome job.
I am a newbie at the html-php-mysql customisations, but with the big help from your forum i have made it.
Now i am stuck.
I need a bit more complex access tree (kinda like j1.6, but i am hopelessly inlove with chrono so i started some j1.5 fiddling).
I have tried various acl extensions but failed "tv style". Dropped that.
I have created 2 usergroups and 2 access levels as described in j1.5 documentation for custom usergroups.
For the access levels to work , they need to be included in /plugins/user/joomla.php .. the "fudge part". And it works, showing menu items according to the custom access level specified. The menu items should trigger the chronoconnectivity tables.
The problem that i have is that the custom usergroups created do not show in the "frontend groups permissions" box and so the tables wont show, and if i select a user from the "per user user permissions" box the chronoconnectivity table still wont show.
It can be a misunderstanding from me of the access level functionality, but i have turned it on all faces and still couldn’t come up with a solution.
I was wondering if you have encountered this issue somewhere down the path or if you possibly have a solution for this.
Again, a big THANK YOU for the great job, and if there is no handy workaround for this situation i will INTENSIFY my prayers that you make the push to j1.6.
Best of luck,
