Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum, but we can't seem to upload & install the ChronoForms Module ( \ChronoForms_V3.2.0.zip )
We get an error :
Warning: file_put_contents(/home/westecom/public_html/tmp/install_4d272a65ac601/) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Is a directory in /home/westecom/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 304
All permissions seem OK - I've looked at line 304 in file.php but can't work out what file name is trying to be created & where.
The Plugin and \mod_chronocontact_V3.1_RC5.2.zip installed Ok without any errors
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi David,

It's a big file and occasionally we see timeouts. Could also be that the download is corrupt.

Usually I suggest a manual installation if the automatic one causes problems.

I re-downloaded the package and noticed that the file size was different ( bigger ) than the original download.
This new one installed just fine.
Time to play now !
Once again many thanks - a beer is on it's way !

When I create my first form ( as per the Tutorial ) I get the message :

Warning: /home/westecom/public_html/administrator/cache/9b8ac9887872716cae1ceea4dea3bd58.spc is not writeable in /home/westecom/public_html/libraries/simplepie/simplepie.php on line 1779

Twice !

And the form is not linkable to a Joomla article.

Any suggestions \?

Please click the Parameters icon at the right hand end of the toolbar and Disable the daily tip.

This error usually shows up when there is a problem with the internet connection to get the latest tip :-(
