Is there a way to show a navigation bar on top of the multipage form ? I need that who is filling the form has clear at which stage of the overall he is and how many pages/steps he still need to fill...

The bare bones are available in the Steps Navigation option. That will allow you to create linsk to go to the other pages of the form - you still need to create some layout to make them look like a toolbar. I don't recall anyone doing this and posting about it here though.
