PayPal API

What PayPal product is the paypal API in chronoform using? Is it simple payment API, the web payment pr web payment pro API?

We want to use the latest paypal product call adaptive payment which I assume is not supported by your API. Has anyone successfully integrated this adaptive payment product with Chronoform?

Also, I been trying to setup the API by following the tutorial but getting internal server time out error.

Hi taung,

The PayPal API plug-in requires a PayPal WebPayments Pro API enabled account.

Note that the 'free' version randomises the amount a little and should only be used for sandbox development.

Simple PayPal is best done with the ReDDirect plug-in; I've never looked at 'adaptive payment'. It's probably manageable but will need hand-coding to handle any respose from PayPal.

I bought the $30 PayPal plugin, and we have website payments pro. I still cannot get a donation form to work. Is there onsubmit code that I need to enter? I have configured the API, and enabled the plugin on the form, moved it to the top. I don't want to make people register for this, so I didn't follow the tutorial. Help?

Hi mhornbuckle ,

I'm not clear if you have configured the plug-in? If not check the box by the form name and click the plug-in link. You may find the non-registration parts of the tutorial helpful with this step.
