ChronoForm Script

Erik87 16 Dec, 2010
Hi,

I need a system described below. How can I make this using ChronoForm?

1. Registered user fill in a form and make payment via site(PayPal).
2. Site's admin receive data from this form, process this data in a special program and upload result to a site.
3. User can download it by going to his profile's page. Also the data he entered filling form was saved and he can view it, edit and send again via his profile's page.

Thanks a bunch

Hi Erik87,

Yes you can do all of this. The way to do it is one step at a time. Plan it out on paper; make a simple mockup of the steps to check the work-flow; then build the final version.

Please come back here and ask when you have specific questions.

OK Bob,

The first specific question is: I created a form and saved it. How to add/edit/delete it's elements (Ex - TextArea, DropBox)?

Thanks

Hi Erik87 ,

If you created it with the Form Wizard use Wizard Edit if you created the HTML by hand use the Form HTML box on the Form Code tab in the Form Editor.

Hi Bob,

Is it was a really difficult question or you need a beer for answering it?

Hi Erik87,

Just overlooked your message, sorry.

The simplest way to do PayPal is to use the ReDirect Plug-in to transfer the User to PayPal after the form is procesed. There are many threads about PayPal here (and there is a recipe in Chapter 11 of The ChronoForms Book if you have a copy).
