Using variables in the "edit form"

Hi.

I Need to use the variables that is used to populates the "edit form". How can I do this? I have tried using post variables without succes. I want to do easy php calculations with the values that populates the form.

I'm not sure that you can access them easily.

I use a straight link from ChronoConnectivity to the ChronoForm passing an id in the URL> Then I have full control over the data retrieval and can pre-process results in the Form HTML.
