By creating table not in Unicode anymore

ab abbotxie 25 Nov, 2010
Hello, you guys,

It's really weird. I used Joomlapack to backup my site. After I restored my site on a new server from the same provider, everything works fine. But today I wanted to create another form using ChronoForm as I did for many times. But the database was always created in latin1_german2_ci instead of utf8-general_ci, which is configured in my database.

It will be very annoying if I have to change the collation every time manually. Any Idea?

Hi abbotxie,

I'm pretty certain that ChronoForms uses the default collation. It certainly doesn't specify latin1_german2_ci.

Just checked a table I created yesterday and that says utf8 - default collation.
