good day. I just did the tutorial # 4 Create a Joomla registration form using CF "and had some problems: [list]

In the" login form "button" register "link is not redirected to the new registration form.

Administrator at the address in "user manager" does not appear that created the new fields.

As far as I know the redirection code in the Tutorial should work OK. What exactly is happening on your site?

Sorry but I don't understand the question about the 'user manager'.

I am having the same problem. What he means by the "user manager" is that the entries are not actually being recorded into the database. So, when you go the the "user manager" section of Joomla Admin area, there is no new registration. The user doesn't get any e-mail asking them to verify their registration. The form gets submitted, but it doesn't go anywhere. I also followed the instructions closely and it is not working.
Is there something missing in the tutorial that is relevant to the latest version of the plugin?

Thanks for the 'User manager' nudge.

Please check that the plug-in is enabled on the form Plug-ins tab. A **green** bar is enabled and red is disabled. Please only enable the plug-ins you are actually using otherwise they may interfere with each other. Also check the plug-in order to make sure that makes sense -- you can drag the bars to change the order.

Hey Bob,
thanks a lot for that tip. That solved the problem! I didn't realize that the plugins were disabled since I saw the "green tick". I thought that they were all enabled and that the tick was indicating their state 🙂

Another way to redirect users to this new Registration page, if you are using sh404SEF SEO plugin, is to do a redirection there in the plugin's URL manager.

Hello Bob. I can register with the link generated by form. But I do not see the new fields created within the Joomla administrator page. I looked at the plugin tab and the bar is green. The new field names are not incorporated in the record of Joomla?
