I have never been able to get the Javascript validation to work. On the Validation tab, i set "Enable Validation" to yes, and put one or two form field names in the "1-required" field (making sure they are the same name as my form fields code) and save the config.
Even with this simple configuration, the validation simply does not run, and the form gets submitted. I've tried this on multiple sites, with multiple templates, and it never ever works.
Am I missing something here?
here is an example: http://durban.directrouter.com/~ctihome/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=17&Itemid=15&class_name=HumanFactors&class_date=12/06/2010

I should mention that I even tried it with the default templates that come with a Joomla installation and it still does not work
Hi Noxbane,
Plese check that "Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files?" is set to 'Yes' on the Form General Tab. I think this should happen automatically for the validation scripts but none of them are being loaded. You could also try turning the JavaScript compression off as sometimes that seems to block files from loading.

"Load Chronoforms CSS/JS Files?" was not set to yes, but when I turned it on, it still made no difference. I even tried using the basicDemo form and turning Validation on it for it, but it still did not work.
I could not find an option in Chronoforms (or Joomla Global Config) for turning off Javascript compression.
I'd be happy to let you login yourself and see if you can get it working if you would like.
