Submeny disappears

Hi,

I have a CF with a CC to edit the CF. After I edit my CF the submenu disappears. Anyone knows why or has encountered this problem?

What sub-menu? It's impossible to say anything useful without more info :-(

I have a mainmenu on the top with the menu item "Forms". This menu item has sub items like: "View data" which is a cc that lists items from a db, "change data" that is a cc with edit and delete buttons and "add data" which is a cf where you add new posts in the db. If you go into the "change data" and make a change on a post, the sub menu disappears.

I'm not sure, I don't know much about menu settings. Is the menu/sub-menu module enabled for all pages?

Yes, the module are enabled for all pages.

The problem seems to be that it loses the connection to the menu. When I look at the bread crumbs, it display only start.

I recall some old posts where something like this was solved by using External URL menu items to link directly to the forms/listings

Thanks for your answer, but I can't find the post your'e referring to. When I change the menu item to an direct URL the menu disappears.

I'm trying to use external urls on the menu items with correct &Itemid=xx in the URL for the menu to follow, but I'm using SEF-urls and that seems to not work. Anyone knows a solution for this?
