Navigating between the forms

ramomu 08 Oct, 2010
Hi everyone!

I am designing a survey questionnaire which I have broken into 9 sections (or rather steps). I've been able to successfully create some dummy pages using the Wizard and test this questionnaire so far. However, I have a problem in adding a [<<Back] button in each step from step2 and above. Although I can creat the button I have no idea as to how I could give a link to this button (when using the Wizard) to go back to the previous page. I have enabled the Step Navigation in the Multi Page plugin settings of the Mother form and thus I also know the URL for each page - but not how to link it!

I also want to keep the entered data displayed in the forms when navigating between the forms. Is there any settings for this? OR will it automatically take care since I have set "Republish fields if error occured" to "Try to repulish" and "Renew Form Instance On Submit" to "Same Instance" in the Mother form settings?

Any help to overcome these two issues is much appreciated.

Regards

Hi Ramomu,

Select Steps Navigation if you want to be able to navigate directly to form steps using urls with the &cfformstep parameter e.g.
index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=test_form_8&cfformstep=2
