Hi finc,

I've never tried running ChronoForms from a Custom HTML module. Is there some problem with the ChronoForms module?

Yes, I have to correct myself, it is the mod_chronocontact.

This was the reaseon now that I tested it in a custom html module

and the normal form plugin is not working there.

Hi finc,

I don't think you have the ReCaptcha Plug-in enabled on the copy of the from you are using in the module.

Hi Bob,

don't try to be a wise Guy here 😶

Somebody kicked my A%& and looks like there is nobody else in this room.

Thanks for waking me up!

It works, but it is a bit out of the template
is it possible to fix the way this plugin looks, like loosing a bit of width.

Hi finc,

It loos as though the White Option is narrower than the Clean one see here. Otherwise you can customise the theme.

Thanks again Bob,
this should be enough for the first shot.

I was wondering if there is a ossibility to change the funny font,
or reduce it to one word.

Mostly older people are getting fuzzy starring on the screen and digging for some letters.
And so is the customer profile for this homepage.

Maybe using Validation can solve it and I don't need to use reCaptcha:

Hi finc,

I don't think that you can change the font - or reduce to one word using ReCaptcha. Check the Recapcha.net site for more info (ChronoForms just uses their code for the plug-in).

The ChronoForms Imageverification might suit you better here?

The spam looks like ropot spam with lots of random content. We cut that down a lot here with the 'What color is grass?' question for registration. (From 20-100 posts a day to five or so.) You can easily do something similar with server-side validation or with JavaScript.

Greetings,

I'm stumped. Where can I find Recaptcha for ChronoForms as a plug-in or other software download, to use in the ChronoForms component, module and/or plug-in?!

I see references to it in this forum, first as a hack, then as a plug-in, but can't find it in anywhere in free or paid Downloads from this site.

I'm using latest versions of ChronoForms component, module and plug-in, on Joomla 1.5.21.

It is in ChronoForms You have to activate it for the certain form you want to use it in.
Go there where You can find all Your forms listed. Click a form, go to the tab Plugins,
make ReCaptcha verification GREEN and save it.

Select the form and click on the left bar where You can find ReCaptcha verification, too.
Now You can setup the way You want ReCaptcha look and insert even Your own key, which You can get for free at ReCaptcha.net

Come back when You stuck!

Hey guys - I've checked in Plugins on the form and verified that the ReCaptcha was green - in fact, all of the items that are shown when I click the plug-in tab are all green.

I've inserted {ReCaptcha} into my form (replaced {imageverification} and my ReCaptcha does not display. When I use {imageverification}, the built in captcha works fine.

I'm using ReCaptcha on other portions of my site, including within JomComment.

Any ideas why the ReCaptcha isn't displaying? If I view the form in my browser, all I see is {ReCaptcha} where the recaptcha should be.

I've also verified that my recaptcha public and private keys have been saved correctly. Perhaps there is a plugin I'm missing?

Thanks for any info.

Hi jpipitone,

all of the items that are shown when I click the plug-in tab are all green.

These are green **bars*8 - then that's a big mess. If you have all the plug-ins enabled then they get in each others way. Only enable those that you need and check that the order makes sense.

Plug-ins do not know anything about other plug-ins. Some will work together, some won't :-(
