Hi plex1,

There are many things that can stop emails being sent correctly.

Please turn on DeBug in the Form General Tab; then submit the form and copy and paste the Debug info here - including the 'dummy' email.

Hi plex1,

It looks as though there is n Email Setup enabled. Please check the Emails column in the Forms Manager - it should say something like Enabled:1, Disabled:0

Hi Bob,
im change: enabled:1 disabled: 0
GreyHead 28 Sep, 2010
Hi plex1,

Please check the following:

a) That 'Send Emails' is set to 'Yes' on the Form General tab

b) That you have a valid Email Setup - if the box is green it's valid, red is invalid (see d below)

c) That you have set 'Enabled' to 'Yes' in the Email Setup Properties box

d) A valid Email Setup requires To, Subject, From Name and From Email elements (or the Dynamic equivalents) in the *same* setup box.

e) The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements.

f) The To and From Email boxes must contain valid email addresses

g) The From Email address should match the Domain name.

h) The To email address should not be the same as the From Email address.

Hi Bob,

Email the results ? Yes
From Email Enabled? Yes
To Enabled Yes
valid Email Setup requires Yes (Green)
The To and From Email boxes must contain valid email addresses antrag@xxxxx-ev.eu
The From Email address should match the Domain name admin@xxxxx-ev.eu

The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements. ????????
Tnx Plex1

Hi plex1 ,

Still not working? :-(

The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements. ????????
• The To box must contain a valid email e.g. user@example.com

  • The Dynamic To must contain the name of a form input that will contain a valid email e.g. email
  •
Static elements contain fixed data e.g. To, Subject, From Name, From Email and Dynamic elements contain variable data from the form.

    Hi BOB!

    I'm having the same problem.

My e-mail is not sent. But the database is correctly updated.

When I debug, this is what it said:

    # Form passed first SPAM check OK
    # Form passed the submissions limit (if enabled) OK
    # Form passed the Image verification (if enabled) OK
    # Form passed the server side validation (if enabled) OK
    # $_POST Array: Array ( [nombre] => Marina F  => mafederman@gmail.com [telefono] => 454545 [mensaje] => Probando el Formulario [chrono_verification] => aJ3AB [button_6] => Enviar [934afec088cc9f535f3b6151d92070fc] => 1 [1cf1] => fa877bd911e222055c2b559b390a1fac [chronoformname] => contacto )
    # $_FILES Array: Array ( )
    # Form passed the plugins step (if enabled) OK
    # An email has been SENT successfully from (Consulta desde Sitio Web)info@desdelospies.com.ar to produccion.trimedios@gmail.com
    # Debug End
    #
Redirect link set, click to test:

Do you know any possible solution?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi trimarina,

An email has been SENT successfully from (Consulta desde Sitio Web)info@desdelospies.com.ar to produccion.trimedios@gmail.com

This message tells us that ChronoForms has passed the Email to Joomla! for sending and Joomla! has reporetd that is was successfully sent.

This isn't 100% reliable but it is a good starting place. The most likely explanation is that the email is in the Gmail spam folder; or that it has been marked as spam and dropped on the way.

    Hi Bob!
    Thanks for your answer.

I've tried with 2 other servers and it isn't working either.

I've tried with hotmail and another hosting server. The e-mail doesn't arrive to inbox nor spam folder.

    Any other possible solution?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marina.

    Hi Marina,

Does your site send emails OK from anywhere else?

    Bob
    trimarina 19 Oct, 2010
    Bob,

I've checked the joomla smtp configuration and it was wrong.

    Now, everyhink is OK,

    I'm so sorry!
    Thanks for everything.

    Marina.
