Dowload field in a form

alemao59 28 Sep, 2010
Hi all,

I want to setup a form in 3 steps

The first step is for the user to register at my site (which are stored on joomla)

The third step is for the user is giving more details about his business (hotels in my case) which are stored in vtiger.

THis steps i have already setup with email sent to the site admin and to the user. And it works great thanks chronoforms.

In between those two steps i want to setup a form where the user has to download a agreement first before he can continue. Is this possible and how do i set this up?

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi alemao59,

Hmmm . . . not sure. You can add a download link easily enough but it's next to impossible to be sure that the user has opened and read it. You could possibly do this with a PDF form but that's outside ChronoForms technology. My best suggestion would be to put a 'code word' at the end of the agreement and ask the user to type it into a form field before they can continue.

Thanks GreyHead,
i think the best is to make a checkbox where they indicate they have dowloaded the agreement. And also i put a link inside the email they receive after registration where they can download the agreement - if they dont have it done before.
I dont want the form to be too complicated.
But thanks a lot.
