Check Box and Radio Button formatting CSS overlaps text

I'm sure this has already been covered, but I've searched and tried other suggestions to similar problems... but...

Check Lists and Radio Buttons do not display correctly. The check box and button are covered by the Option text. (see attached image)

I disabled CSS in the Core/View Form Settings and the lists look better, but the form isn't well formatted. I'd like to use the CSS.

I'm using RocketTheme template. Joomla 1.5.20 (Firefox browser)

It's a RocketTheme feature. Please turn off Input Formatting in the template settings.

Hi Judy,

That will depend a bit on your template. With RocketTheme's Crystalline using the Gantry framework it's under 'Advanced':
