Form saying validation is wrong but it;s switched off...

budfox 27 Aug, 2010
I have to say I'm really struggling with Chronoforms.
I love the idea, I love the wizard, the support has been great but I can't even get one simple form to work...It's almost too complicated.

I have a form here: http://www.lalaletters.co.uk/component/content/article/1/2-orders

All I want is something that sends an email to my client. Now this particular form has validation switched off (I think - there's certainly no validation box) but it reports a validation error:

1. You have entered an incorrect verification code at the bottom of the form.

Now, I have to say that the URL doesn't look like a standard Joomla URL (with rewrite turned on etc.) but I'm assuming the problem isn't related to that.

Any kind of help here would be appreciated, and the ChronoForms guys are very welcome to have a login.

Thanks all.

Hi Steve,

It loosk as though you have Anti_Spam set to yes but haven't included the {imageverification} tag into the Form HTML. You can use Wizard Edit to add a Captcha element to your form.

Ah yes, thanks for that.

It's not throwing errors up now, so I just need to get it to send.

I do struggle with the wizard/manual edit concept. I guess if I did lots of forms I'd get there in the end, but as a rule I tend not to use forms.

Cheers anyway
