hey, i've already gotten this to work before, but for some reason the default registration on my site isn't being replaced by my new chronoforms registration. i followed the instructions in the pdf to the letter, and am using the most recent chronoforms version. is there something i'm forgetting? was there an extra plugin i am supposed to be using? thanks

Joomla Registration...
ok, i tried to use the redirect plugin as well, and it is still using the default joomla registration.
ok weird, i followed the same exact steps on another site, and it worked fine. anyone know of anything that would cause the redirect not to work? thanks again
Hi kidnthehall ,
There's no extra plugin involved. You do have to modify the Joomla registration code (or use something like Jumi to redirect from it). IIRC the instructions to modify the Joomla code are in the tutorial.

Please help me. I'm have a different problem. I followed the pdf exact but the information is not being added to the users database. When I click submit, it just goes to a blank page. Please see link. http://chocolatesomp.com/cnkt/cnk/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=Registration
PLEASE HELP! My client is expecting this ready by tomorrow but your help will be needed even if you don't get back to me by tomorrow. I'm desperate. Not sure what to do now.

Hi fremaje,
The blank page looks normal if you don't have a Thank You message set up.
Please check that you have the Joomla Registration Plug-in enabled on the Form Plug-ins tab ( a **green** bar is enabled).

I see about not assigning a thank you. I'd like to ask how to do that but I'm sure that's simple.
More important is getting the registration form to work. After submit it's not being entered into the database. Because when I check my users it's not added.
I attached a snapshot of what the plugin manager looks like for the Joomla Registration plugin.
I'm stumped. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks🙂

and a **red** bar is disabled.Bob
I have no idea where I enable it. I'm not new to joomla either so this is sort of embarrassing. Please direct me.
Hi fremaje ,
Click the red bar and it will turn green. Just the one bar for the plug-in you want to enable.

Thanks so much. I figured it out on my own and felt very silly once I did. Thanks so much for all you help🙂
Its working now but in the jos_users database the new fields are not present and the user type is empty. What do I do to get this working properly? Thanks.
