CC "Apply" button for form

Hi all,
I get the feeling this is really simple to do and I just can't wrap my head around it for some reason..
I need an "Apply" button like in the backend CC editor. I see it using a function called javascript: submitbutton('applychangesdata') but I can't find any documentation for it.

Any suggestions?

I assume that you mean ChronoForms and not ChronoConnectivity but what are you actually trying to do?

I want it to submit the form and refresh the page so that the php is re-parsed using the new form data. Basically the exact functionality of the "apply" button in the administrative view when CC loads a field for editing.
