http post using curl - conditional post?

MNRachel 16 Jul, 2010
Hi!

I use chronoforms regularly on my site and I am currently trying to work in co-registration ads. I am trying to use the curl plugin to accomplish submitting the leads. Has anyone worked something like this into chronoforms? Is curl the best way to accomplish it?

It looks like it could work if:

Can you submit data from form/db to another url conditionally, only IF a specific field is checked "yes"?

Can you post only certain fields to the url? I ask for more fields than I need to pass on.

Thanks in advance!

Hi MNRachel,

Yes; not so easily; yes.

Okay, that helps some. I'll assume that iff it's too difficult to post, it's too difficult to do.

Seems like it could be achieved outside of chronoforms if I was better at coding.. might have to throw in the towel on this one.

Hi MNRachel ,

Ther are several threads here about using cURL. See this onethat I posted an hour or so ago.

The only difficult piece is making the plugin conditional on a field entry. There is no simple way to do that at the moment.
