truthdriven,
Could you check 2 things:
1. whether the form Apply2 has been published
2. is the form name correct
Optionally why dont you assign the form to a menu item

Hi truthdriven,
It sounds as though you need to download and install the ChronoForms Plugin and Module.
Bob
truthdriven,
Also can you confirm if you have "enabled the Plugin in the Extensions | Plugins Manager"
meantime i am downloading the mambot, to install and test

truthdriven,
I installed the plugin, created a test article, typed {chronocontact}rquote{/chronocontact}
rquote is a form i had created.
I published the article to frontpage
The result was as below:
"TestChronoPlugin

This is to test CF mambot
{chronocontact}rquote{/chronocontact}"
Then i enabled the plugin called chronocontact and i was able to see my form
being displayed.
How this helps ...

Oh, and on the other suggestion, a menu should work fine, and I will do that. Still would like to figure out the ability to embed though, as it seems a touch cleaner and will allow me to put the form on other pages.
Many thanks for the thoughts/advice.
Thanks to others with advice. Forgive my ignorance, but as far as plugins, one of my challenges is that the ONLY place I see anything about chrono* (anything) is under the extension manager<"Components". There, and there only, is an enabled component called "Chrono Contact." I see nothing under "extensions" that appears related to ChronoForms or ChronoContact.
That said, the components menu for Chrono Forms is all there and appears to work great. So in short, the only thing that appears problematic at this phase is the ability to embed the form.
I have now made a menu item out of the form Apply2, added some text to it, and that's working fine. I'd still love to figure out the chronocontact code issue though. Many thanks for all the help, and again, apologize for my newbie status with all this (including new to joomla🙂.
Hi truthdriven,
It still sounds as though you need to download and install the ChronoForms Plugin and Module.
