Error Message - SMTP Error! Could not connect to SMTP host.

Hello all,

I have a problem with SMTP set up.

I have created a form and set up the email.

It was working fine in my old domain.

However, when I transfered it to another domain, I won't received any email notice whole I testing the form.

And I have set up the SMTP setting under Global Configuration.

All the setting are the same between two domains.

Still, I won't get any email notice from the form.

Following are the information of the SMTP set up,

Mailer -SMTP Sever
Mail from -MyEmailAccount@gmail.com
From Name -Name
Sendmail Path -/usr/sbin/sendmail
SMTP Authentication -Yes
SMTP Security -SSL
SMTP Port -456
SMTP Username -MyEmailAccount@gmail.com
SMTP Password -My Passowrd
SMTP Host -smtp.gmail.com

Hi stevesujk32,

Checking the Gmail settings here it looks as though the port should be 465 (not 456).

Thank you for help out.

I have try both port 465 and 587.

It is still not working.

What else could cause this problem?

I don't know, it's a Gmail problem not a ChronoForms one. If you want to PM or email me a screen shot of the actual setting and the password I can try it out for you.
