Unique ID's for checkboxes and radio buttons

rowby 04 May, 2010
Not sure if this is a bug or a suggestion.

I think it is a bug, because it appears that Chronoform gives unique names to text fields.

But for Radio buttons and checkmarks the names start at 0.

This causes problems when creating multipage forms using the wizard.

So my suggestion (or the bug is) every item on an installation should have a unique, never repeating name assigned to it.

And if this is not possible, then in the Wizard, Radio buttons and Checkmarks should have a field where we can put in a unique name, just as we can for text boxes.

Thanks

Hi Rowby,

agree, you may rename them in the HTML code for now, but will find a solution for this by the new version

Great to hear that, Max.

It would make Choronoforms even more perfect. (I am spoiled by your extension and hate having to dig into the html -- especially for checkboxes and radio buttons which have so many id's)
