Joomla Registration

Hi There,

I am trying to create a registration form to crate user accounts for my Joomla site. The form works well: results are emailed to the correct address, the confirmation page is displayed. What does not work is the user registration. As soon as I enable the joomla registration plugin, the form fails to submit the email and no data is written to the Joomla Users table. After form submission the attached error appears. I have tried the form in IE8 and Google Chrome with the same results.

Do you have User Registration enabled in the Site Global Configuration?
