Error 500 - Internal server error

treblesix 22 Mar, 2010
My site's home page comes up with "Error 500 - Internal server error" when the chronocontact plugin is enabled. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the lead Bob - am using a YOOtheme template and problem goes away when I change to another std template. There is a conflict somewhere but not tracked it down yet. Have disabled all YOO plugins and modules with no luck. Also tried disabling javascript and mootools option in template settings - again with no luck

Would be interested if you have any further thoughts

Hi treblesix,

If you post a link to the form I can take a look. No other immediate suggestions though.

Hi Bob

This problem appears to be linked to another thread of mine (http://www.chronoengine.com/forums/index.php?option=com_chronoforums&cont=posts&f=2&t=17536&start=0)

I am using SH404SEF. If I disable it then no problems but with it enabled as soon as I publish the Chronocantact plugin the home page goes to Error 500

Any advice about using ChronoForms with SH404SEF?

My url is <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.africanhorseback.com">www.africanhorseback.com</a><!-- w -->

Hi treblesix,

Set sh404SEF to ignore the ChronoForms extension.

Hi treblesix,

Have you cleared the URL cache? I guess that you may need to add some kind of custom URL . . .?
