Not receiving the emails

Hi,

I had a good working form for a while now
and today I did a test and I stopped receiving the mails of the form

Hi sweet160,

The message "An email has been SENT successfully" says that ChronoForms has passed the message to the Joomla mailer and has received a 'success' message back.

Assuming that the site has a working mailer the most likely expanation is that the email is in a spam folder somewhere on the route.

One thing that can cause spam problems is having the same email address in the To & From boxes so please change that in your setup.

thanks again for your fast en kind answer...

I had indeed the TO and From boxes with the same email
when I changed them it didn't help...

However I did have in the subject box
an url <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.something.com">www.something.com</a><!-- w -->

when I removed the www. i started to receive the form results again...

Please check your Gmail spam folder.

If it's not there please post the 'dummy email' part of the DeBug information.

Hi sapna,

Hmmm that's odd. On the same page before that code there should be some text that is a copy of the email being sent.

Otherwise, the Email successfully sent message says that ChronoForms passed the email to the Joomla Mailer and has received a success message back.

The most common cause of problems like this is that emails ae being marked as spam and dropped somewhere.

Hi Greyhead,,

Thank you so much for replying. The problem is when I change the From email and From name fields in the emailsetup to Dynamic from name and Dynamic email, I get the email but with the "unknown sender". I tried adding the two hidden fields in the form with the name "fname" and "femail" and added these name to the "Dynamic from name and Dynamic email" but then I don't receive any email.

I know sounds weird but yes this happens...

Hi sapna,

I strongly recommend that you do *not* use the Dynamic From Email element in your Email Setups. Using this often results in your emails being marked as spam and dropped into a spam filter. Instead use the static From Email with an address that matches the site domain name and use Dynamic ReplyTo Email for the user email. The result is the same but with a much better chance of good delivery.

I am not receiving the emails..

Debug isn't showing message like: An email has been SENT successfully from .... to ...

I try the components on 3 domains with 3 different web hosting providers.

Any help please!
