Getting Confirmation Page to work

goodlooks 10 Jan, 2010
I created a form using the wizard, I then used the confirmation page plugin to create a confirmation page. I added the values from email template, but the confirmation page will not show up, it immediately goes to thank you page.

I have had no luck finding a tutorial on properly creating a confirmation page or how to add on if wizard was used.

any light on situation would be great.

TIA

Hi goodlooks,

Sounds as though you probably don't have the Confirmation Page plugin enabled on the form Plugins tab. It needs to show a green bar with an 'x' icon to be enabled.

PS There appears to be a bug with the present version that stops emails from being sent.

I enable the green bar and now when I click submit, it say I am not allowed to access this url. I do not have SEF on or Cache... in joomla.

Hi goodlooks,

Please post a link to the form.

I'm having the same problem: I have setup a confirmation page, enabled the confirmation page plugin, have the "Show buttons?" option set to Yes and have a small bit of text in the code window showing the data for the user to check but there are no buttons!

The confirmation page works fine, shows the data entered by the user exactly the way I've formatted it but there's no buttons to continue on with! I'm not sending an email confirmation so I have that turned off. I can't post a link to it coz it's only on my local webserver at home, not online yet.

Hi Brettd,

Yes, it has a small glitch, please contact me through the "Contact us" page and I will forward the patch to you
