Data isn't saved unless debug is turned on!

gtownwebdev 31 Dec, 2009
Bob, I thought my form was up and running and working great until I turned off the debug and it stopped saving the data!

That is literally the only thing that makes the difference. Turn debug back on (in the two children of the multi-page form) and the record gets created. Turn debug off, no record created.

No errors in the debug that I can see. What would cause this??!!

Here's the form:
http://draft.masc.org/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=AdminSteps

Log in as adamattorney/adamattorney to see it.

Debug is on right now, so you can see it.

Ack!

Hi gtownwebdev,

I can't think of any normal reason why turning debug on and off would change this. But I see that you have a ReDirect URL set and I wonder if this is kicking in before the database save takes place.

With DeBug 'On' the ReDirect isn't executed - the link is displayed instead.

If the ReDirect is on a Child form please move it to the mother form.
