I am having quite a problem with this, and I have a deadline for tuesday so if anyone can help me I appreciate it!
If I click on the Forms Manager Link to try and view my form, I get redirected to my index.php page. The form is published, and I have no redirect specified in the editor. (I have tried pointing to google to test it)
the form link is: "index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=crap"
So I am using the plugin to stick the form into an article, but now my Recaptcha isn't working. -I have enabled it, and configured it- I have placed {ReCaptcha} in the "form code" area.
Help? SoS!
Hi Segellion,
I guess that there's some cr*p in the form code somewhere. Impossible to say much more without seeing the Form and possibly takign a peek at the backend.
Bob
I actually have four forms and all of them are the same way. and no not all of them are named crap =P
Is it just a bug that you cannot place the {ReCaptcha} plugin into a form that's placed in an article?
Hi Segellion,
Possibly - I vaguely remember someone posting about a bug with a path somewhere. I'll take a look later.
Bob
After surfing the forums again.. I haven't really found a solution to why my forms get redirected to my index.php page. This is quite a frustrating issue.
If I clear my cache it works fine, and they submit perfectly. I have specified a redirect URL in the chronoforms options but it refuses to go to that and simply goes to index.php
*sigh*
Hi Segellion,
Sounds like some kind of redirect from another component. Do you have an SEF component enabled?
Can you post a link here (or PM or email it to me if you prefer)?

Bob
Thank you Greyhead, I have submitted the form URL to your inbox.
Hi Segellion,
I go the form thank you. All appears to be fine - the form is working perfectly well on my test site. I have no problem in viewing it.
I can only think that some other component - like an SEF manager - is interfering with the link interpretation.
Bob
PS I noticed that the submit button has no name and that there is a stray 'comma' on the end of one of the validation field lists. Thess may cause other problems.
I don't understand how an SEF could cause this problem? I have SEF's installed but I have tried disabling them and chronoforms is doing the same thing, where would the conflict occur? I know it's not really your "area" but if a lot of people are having the same issue, maybe you could point me in the general direction of why the SEF would be causing this?
Hi Segellion,
By all means Mm or email me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob
Hi greyhead,
I've sent the credentials to your email,
Thank you very much
Hi Segellion,
Thanks for the login, the problem is that JUGA Public Access isn't open for the ChronoForms component. I've changed one JUGA entry (the ChronoContact one I think) and I can now access the cr*p form from the link. You may well need to check the settings for other chronoforms URLs.
Bob
Juga eh? That's not even an SEF.. quite a stickler this stuff is.
So was it just that JUGA was setting it as public view or something? Or did you just disable JUGA from chronoforms? I didn't even configure JUGA I was more-around trying it out but I am looking at using it for a future project. I don't necessarily need Chronoforms and JUGA to work hand-in-hand. But I'm just curious what you were looking for that prompted you to check JUGA, have you had issues with it before?
Hi Segellion,
I've occasionally seen problems like this with JUGA and other access control extensions before. If I'm locked out of a page then access control is one of the possibilities on my mental check-list.
I don't know much about JUGA, just enough to grope my way around.
If you go to Juga | Site Items then Filter for 'Chrono' you'll see a long list of ChronoForms urls. I clicked the green access icon at the right and enabled Public Access.
Bob
That's great news, and for whatever you did it seemed to allow me to use the form validator. Thank you very much Bob,
I happily consider this problem solved.
