Hi
Have set up a form with the recapthca - form page looks perfect with the image captcha letters/numbers but even though I enter them correctly I am still advised that they have not been entered correctly - cannot work out how to fix this at all.

Any ideas? Is there other captcha type things I can use easily with Chronoforms such as the types used in the registration page for this forum
Cheers
Hi Huski,
Switch to the standard ChronoForms Anti-spam imageverification. Enable it on the Anti-spam tab and include {imageverification} in yout form html.

PS Don't know why you are getting the ReCaptcha error, apart from some problems in IE it seems to work OK most of the time. It's impossible to say any more without seeing the form.
In Chronoforms, under the form anti spam tab, it is set to Yes for image verification and the form html has the {imageverification} tag in it - the form itself looks fine, does everything it needs to do with the recaptcha image showing but always get the error message evening though I am typing in correct - it is happening in Google chrome, Firefox and IE - just not sure why - would there be another setting somewhere I have missed.
Hi Huski,
If you are getting the ReCaptcha error message but not using ReCaptcha then you probably need to disable the Plugin on the Form Plugins Tab. Set the plugin bar to RED.

Hi
Not sure what you mean here.
Have set up a chronoform form. Then under the form and under Anti Spam I said Yes to the graphic recaptcha and made sure to go to recaptcha website and get my own keys which I put in.
The form looks fine with recaptcha showing but even though I definitely put in the correct code, I still get
he reCAPTCHA wasn't entered correctly. Go back and try it again

Is this clashing with something else in Joomla? I just can't find what might be causing the problem.
Can I use a different type of captcha with chronoforms?
Cheers
Hi Huski,
ChronoForms has two quite different Anti-Spam tools.
The standard one is called 'ImageVerification' it is enabled in the Anti_Spam tab and requires you to have {imageverification} in the Form HTML.
There's a backup for people who prefer it using ReCaptcha; it's enabled through the Plugin and requires that you have {recaptcha} in the Form HTML.
You shouldn't use both as they don't mix well. It sounds as though you have a bit of each.
