label tag not compliant

jrthor2 21 Nov, 2009
I'm not sure anyone else has noticed, but the label tag generated is missing the "for" atribute, so when you click on the label, it does not position the cursor in the field it is associated with. Any way to fix this, or will this be fixed in the next release? Is there a next release scheduled?

Thanks for a great product!!

Hi jrthor2,

I have no idea if Max plans to fix this. I usually got through the Form HTML and add them with copy & paste.

Where do you add them with copy/paste? I have the form as part of an article, using the {chronocontact}{/chronocontact} tags.

Hi jrthor2,

Go to the Forms Manager, open the Form for editing by clicking the form name link. Then on the Form Code tab open the Form HTML window.

Thanks. I just went in to my Email template and it is showing the code, and not the actual fields, and the editor toolbar is gone. Any suggestions? I've attached a screenshot.

Hi jrthor2,

Yes, that's the email template. I thought that you wanted to edit the Form HTML which is on the Form Code tab???

Bob

PS The 'Editor Toolbar' only shows up in the Wizard but you can't edit the code from there.

I was talking about the form html, but I have that figured out thanks to you, but the Email Template never looked like that before,
it always had the editor toolbar. I went into wizard mode, and it is not there either, attached is a screenshot. Is there
somewhere where you can turn that toolbar off? Maybe I did that by mistake.

hi jrthor2,

There's an option in the Email Setup Properties box to turn the HTML editor on and off. You need to do this for example to add PHP to the tmeplate.

I believe I have it turned on, attached is a screenshot of my email setup page. Also, you'll notice I have enabled to Yes, but
on the form manager, it says Enabled: 0, Disabled: 1.

Thanks

Hi jrthor2,

I don't know why the editor isn't showing then. Possibly a JavaScript conflict??

The 'disabled' message you probably don't have Send Emails enabled on the Form General Tab.

I got these 2 issues fixed. I must not have hit the apply button, and just clicked save. Once I clicked the apply button, then save, then the editor showed up and my email template showed as enabled. Thanks for all the help. I hope my original request witht he label tag gets fixed 😀 .

Thanks again!
