Validating textboxes

Swarie 14 Nov, 2009
Hello everyone. I'm new to Chronoforms and I'm still wrapping my head around a a lot of stuff. I'm using a form that I built in Dreamweaver. I have a series of textboxes that I would the user to enter information into, namely "National Id", "Passport Number" and "Drivers' Permit Number". I need to set those up so that the user is required to enter data into one or more of the textboxes. If any box is left blank, an error is generated. Exactly how would I accomplish this? I figured out how to do it with the radio buttons, but the textboxes I can't seem to figure out. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Swarie

Hi Swarie,

first you should make sure your fields names don't have any spaces and then you need to enter those fields names separated with commas in the required box under the validation tab and turn on the validation!
