How to show registration form is user is not logged in?

Hi,

I'm trying to allow users who are not registered with my site the ability to fill out forms that require registration and THEN have the registration form come up. I know that I can do this with the multi page plugin, but is there a simple way to make sure that the data will NOT be submitted unless the user registers, while still allowing the user to first fill out the desired form?

Let me know if that wasn't too clear of if more info is needed.

Thanks!

Hi tidusx18,

Nothing easy that I can think of, can you save it with a 'not-registered' status flag??

Hmm, actually I think thats not such a bad idea. I think I'll just let users use the site without HAVING to register since I just realized that the forms they submit require contact info anyway. 🙂

Thanks lol.

Hi tidusx18,

You can do a 'concealed' registration. If you have the user's name & email you can create a username and password for them and email them the login info.

Well there should...hopefully....be many many users so I can't really create each account manually.

Thanks anyway.

Hi tudusx18,

You can automate it completely with the Registration plugin.
Have ChronoForms generate the password and use email for the username (or make one up from the name).

Hmm, I'll give it a try and let you know how it works.

Thanks.
