Trouble with email on ChronoForms V3.1_RC5.5

Hi -
Yes, my first post. I am a newbie. I tried ChronoForms several months ago, had problems figuring it out and gave up on it. I decided to try it again. I am using Joomla1.5.14 and using V3.1_RC5.5 of ChronoForms.
The problem is with my email. I debugged it and all seems ok except for the results of the email. I have 4 fields: name, last name, email and message.
The name and email results are displayed correctly (i.e. as filled in) but the email and the message results do not display as entered. Instead it lists the results like this: Email {text_5}
Message {text_4}.

The debugging seems to have gone fine, the last lines read: An email has been SENT successfully from (admin)example@yahoo.com to carlatexample.co.za

I am working on a MAMP localhost site. Could this be the reason for the strange results? I tried scanning the forum for leads but couldn't find a solution.

I tried the entire process on a live site and it all worked. I am wondering and am concerned as to why the form results are not being displayed properly on the localhost setup.
On a lesser note: Does the fact that I do not receive an email have to do with my site being on a localhost and not live? Just curious.

Thank you for any light you can shed on this issue. I would love to make the breakthrough an use ChronoForms on my Joomla sites.

Hi Carl,

Hard to tell. If two fields are working OK and two are not, then maybe the email template is somehow out of sync with the Email setup and the input names don't match any more?

If you post the Email setup and the debug code that might help the diagnosis.

Your localhost setup won't send emails unless you have a localhost mail server or you configure the site to use a remote SMTP server - Gmail works well.
