Emailing problems on CF3

I have created a form (manually not using the wizard) and completed the 'Email Setup' (the box is now green), including 2 dynamic fields from my form ('name' & 'email'). I have selected email sending to be on, but on the main CF screen it is showing 1 email disabled...

Please help, i`ve been pulling my hair our for days...

Either the setup isn't enabled in the Properties box; or Send Emails isn't enabled on the General tab (I'm not sure which one you've already done).

Hmmm. . . the General tab is the tab with 'General' on it; the Email Setup Properties box is the box in the Setup Emails tab headed Email Properties.

Sorry, i was being very stupid...haha...
Ok, its on in the General Tab (drop down box)
Ah...found the problem, I was changing the enabled to on in the properties but not applying it in the properties box before saving it.

A minor thing, I`m getting the following character at the end of each field 'Â' how can I remove it?

Hi James,

That odd character looks like a character set artefact. Where exactly are you seeing it? Are you pasting code in from a text editor? It might be a line end character in there??

Its at the end of every field in my database and email, when I fill in a form. I didn`t used to get it with the old version of CF, its something that has appeared since i changed to Joomla 1.5 and CF3.
