Was editing the after-form submission and changing an email, when this happened. The link should end with "DCCMUN_registration"
Is the form corrupted? How could it be salvaged?
Hi Apocryphon,
The form name has been deleted on the General Tab. Check the check-box on the left, click the Edit icon in the toolbar and put the name back again.
Bob
I've reinserted the name. However, all of the HTML code is missing!
Hi Apocryphon,
No idea why that should happen.
Check the jos_chronoforms table in the database and see if there is any code left in there? A database backup might have an old copy of the form?
Bob
I have the same problem. Two days' work is gone with the wind...
I rememeber that while editing a field I pressed <ENTER>.
Very strange...
Hi nahagel,
See my earlier post about checking the database.
This was a known bug with earlier versions of ChronoForms - as far as I know it's fixed in the current release.

I have installed Chrono Contact (ChronoForms) 3.1 RC5.5 two days ago. I checked the database. There's no jos_chronoforms but jos_chrono_contact table. There is field 'stylecode' left but most important 'html' is missing. Unfortunately I didn't make any database backup. There's no hope for restoring, I guess?
Hi nahagel,
Sorry I got the table name wrong. That's the right one, the 'html' or 'chronocode' are the two columns where useful data about the form might be stored.
Bob
I get backup of the database. What (and where) should I change to restore the form? Which tables/fields? Something else (additional files)?
Hi nahagel,
Check the backup version for values in the HTML or chronocode columns. If they are there you can copy the records over to the current table.

Hi
I'm having this problem since upgrading last week to the latest build. Started a new form using form wizard, accidently hit the 'enter' key when doing something and bank, the form (which had been saved previously) disappears - I see how to fix that - but all my work was gone. This happened a number of times.
The other bug I have found is that when I click on a form to edit, I get a large amount of code appear before what should appear is shown. Happens on whatever link I click to do something - even edit wizard but in this case, if I go to edit the form I see all the fields and form (with all the gobbledy gook at the top) and can't do anything with it.
What I have found is that if I CTRL-R then the slab of code disappears.
There are other weird things happening as well - will post if I get more repitition of them.
Hi Huski,
Sounds like a JavaScript error of some kind. Neither of these are standard behaviour - though there have been a few reports of spurious code blocks appearing.
I'm away for the next week, if Max is around he may have some more ideas.
Bob
try to clear both browser and website caches ?
