IE 8 will not open my contact form page. Only affects this page. No other extensions installed on that page so i could narrow it down to the form.
works fine in FF. I need to figure this out fast. getting ready to give my beta testers access. must be a security issue, not sure.
attached screenshot of error.

update:
was able to edit form with wizard. deleted text field with {ReCaptcha} to see if ReCaptcha was culprit.
Now the weird part. ReCaptcha still shows up on the front end, even after deleting text field (yes i cleared my cache, refreshed, and restarted browser even). And, the page will now load in IE, no error.
Any explanation?
i only get this error when clicking on the form name to edit it. i can click on the url and such and view it just fine.
Hi dsmflash,
The error is an old IE bug that is triggered when JavaScript that is loaded in the page body tries to execute before the page is full loaded. It's fixed in IE8 but not in previous versions. It's well documented and you'll find a Microsoft Knowledgebase article or two on it.
I'm not clear why you should see it when you click the form to edit it. Is this using the Wizard Edit or the 'normal' form editor?
The easy workaround is to edit in another browser that doesn't have the bug :-(

Not trying to edit form, i'm referring to just visiting the page on the FE. Error pops up. i'm still using IE 7. Haven't upgraded because i dont' use IE except to beta test before launch.
also, this is a community website for my county and a lot of users will have IE 6 and IE 7. CF with this site is having many errors. My other site has none, except for the daily tip error in BE. They are on the same server with same config. Strange.
I deleted the ReCAPTCHA field from my form and left the plugin enabled, mainly because i cannot edit it now because of the error in my new fatal error, and i can still see the ReCaptcha on the FE and no more IE error. Weird.
