One of the fields on my form wasn't working, so I erased it and replaced it with another one, being careful to change the name. I applied the change and then saved. The edits were reflected in the form, visible here :
http://www.windsoranimalrescue.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=54
(The area in question is under the second section: RESIDENTIAL INFORMATION: The part that isn't working is the "Your home address"
When I went back to the site and looked at the revised form, it showed the edited version, but when I tested the form by filling it out and sending it to myself, none of the edits were reflected in the email I received. The field called "Physical Address," which I'd replaced with "Home Address (where you live)", was still there and was still not working. (See ****section below)

This suggests to me that the form changes are not being picked up by the php form handler.
Any suggestion about how to fix this?

Hi laurahagar@comcast.net,
ChronoForms won't automatically update the Email Template unless you delete everything that is in there (including any invisible html tags like <p>&npsp;</p>
Or you can simply edit the template by hand.

Well, OK, so I erased the email template in hopes that it would automatically create an email template similar to my form (which is what, in red letters, it says it will do).
Now test emails are completely blank except for this: "Submitted by 98.207.29.216"

Hi Laura,
Then there is probably some hidden html in the template. Click the html button so see the source code - it must be completely empty.

You were right: there was hidden html. I removed it, but it didn't solve the problem--at least not completely. The email now reflects the edited version, but there is still no answer to the question of "Home address."
