Ok so im kinda guessing this is probably the dumbest post ever because ive looked through the forums already and have found Q&As similar to this post yet, for me, im having the same issue.
So i got my multpage form up, looks nice even if i do say so myself. i turned on email ONLY on the motherform and all my child ones to off.
The child form is tied into to use joomla registration and you know what, it works fine and dandy. The administrator gets an email saying someone has registered, theres even a new record in the user manager page AND in my motherform table.
Only recently however did i realise that the user that is registering does not get an email at all. Now before you start throwing things at me for my stupidity this is what i have checked:
1. motherform has 'email results?' enabled
2. children do not (as per the multipage tutorial i read)
I read the forum posts and realised there IS another enable email option in the Setup Emails tab when you add a 'To' feild. Howver when i add a 'To' feild the 'enable email' option is set to no and greyed out. Plus since the user should be getting the email i wouldnt quite know what the 'To' email address should be.
I have also tried turning on 'email results' in my child form but that makes no odds. So i would be really greaful if someone could tell me how stupid i am being, and if you so desire, afterwards i shall kick myself in the nuts.
Thanks all
