Hello,
i just installed Joomla and ChronoForms.
I added a Form, enabled USE MAMBOTS and a few fields have been set to REQUIRED during the formsetup.
If i try to call the form with {chronocontact}myform{/chronocontact} on a page or module i just see this braces but not the form i expected to show up.
And my form can be send without entering the required fields. I can leave all fields empty and just have to fill out the captcha field, and the form will be submitted.
What went wrong?

Hi Sakia,
You don't need Mambots enabled in the ChronoForms setup; you do need to enable the ChronoForms Plugin in the Joomla Plugins management.

But i didn't activated it there. in my created form i activated the mambot and the required fields.
Any hints how to solve the problem?

I don't understand. Is the ChronoForms Plugin Enabled/ Published in the Joomla Plugin Manager?

Yes, its activated under the Plugin Manager.
But no forms show up, when i add a form to a content page or load it in a module.
and fields in a form, which are set to required are not required for a user.
i can call the form in my browser, using the link right next to it in the form management. thats working but the rest isn't

Hi EWorld,
Please check that you have the latest versions of ChronoForms and the ChronoForms Plugin and Module - older versions will neot work with the latest release.
You may have a conflict with some other JavaScript in your template. Please post a link to your form if you can.

just downloaded 2 days ago newest version of joomla and the latest files of chronoform

Hi Saskia,
FireBug shows an error with the Calendar script which is breaking the validation. Do you have a field name in the datpicker list that no longer exists in the form?
I still think it most likely that the ChronoForm plugin isn't enabled. Please PM me a SuperAdmin login if you want to mne to take a quick look.
