3.1RC4.11 to 3.1RC5.5 problems

All looks fine till you click on the "What is the website about ?" box and then it pulls the top banner upwards

EDIT - I'm using Firefox 3.5.2

(havent got further than noticing this as trying to upgrade joomla from 1.5.9 to 1.5.14 which went ok but stupid me deleted the weblinks component somehow, months ago though, so just been told to re-install from scratch .. arghhh)

My registeration page no longer shows the captcha image or the special question that I added in. I looked in the admin panel and everything looks ok. I clicked save ... and got ...

I think the long error is because the MySQL tables need updating. Click the "Upgrade SQL and Load Demo Form" link in the Forms Manager to upgrade the SQL.

I also have a problem with the ImageVerification in RC5.5 - haven't yet had time to debug it though :-(

Clicked the button and got upgrade successful.

Still got the top banner getting pulled upwards on contact us form and no image verification on register page

The top banner has something wrong but it looks the same to me on the Home page as on the Contact Us page.

(I'm not on about the top banner on the homepage. I know that is wrong at the moment, 🙄 , I'm on about the ChronoForm that is used for this Contact Us form hence posting in here about it in the first place!)

Using Firefox 3.5.2

Looking at this page, the form itself doesnt load correctly.

The "Powered By" is on line with the top of the "Enter Your Message" box.
Click on the word "Spiders" and the top banner (of the two that sit at the bottom of the page) is put along from the box that says "Spiders" and the banner itself goes off the website page.

It appears to be partly at least a result of the width:85% setting in line 16 of style1.css in the ChronoForms template. I suspect that there's something else as well but changing this to 100% pushes the tag line back down.

While the ChronoForm team are sorting out the 3.1rc5.5 bugs, is it possible for me to download and re-install the 3.1rc4.11 ?

Will it work fine with no problems ?

What bugs have you found? The CSS hasn't changed for several releases now.

You can always ask Max for an older version by using the Contact Us form above.

Oh OK - the 'other problem' is something to do with your form and template layout and the way they interact. Not a CF bug in this case.

And, I've looked at the imageverification since then, it seems fine with 'ordinary' forms, I still have a small problem with a multi-page form that I'm working on.

The contact us form is now working fine

The registeration form - http://www.tracingequines.co.uk/horses/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=register1 isnt working 100% properly.

The form fills in fine and then goes to a blank page. The details are not saved in joomla (like it was set to do in 3.1rc4.11) and no emails are sent. Been searching round these forums and found nothing to help.

No to the enable saved data in jos_users as that threw up ..Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/tracinge/public_html/horses/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 540

It looks as though the Plugin Configuration has not been saved, or the plugin isn't enabled. Try unenable - save - re-enable - save again.

Unenable > Save > Enable > Save > Unenable > Clear cache from browser > Fill form in and it all works
