Database and Menu Creator

Wow. What a fantastic component Chronoforms is.

I had a little trouble navigating the creation of a menu to display the database records captured for a form. Initially, I set this to be nested root(components menu)/Chronoforms/Menu Creator/RFI. Don't know why it did not show up. When I deleted and recreated at the root, it appeared in the Components drop down menu.

When selecting that menu, you are presented with a list of record holders for each record in the database. Nice, but you have to open up each item to see the data. It would be totally awesome if you could choose to view a list of the database records in a spreadsheet format and then have the option to print or download in csv or text format.

Great tool. Keep up the good work, and I'll be looking forward to more enhancements. Definitely one of the best Joomla components out there.😀

Hi tombehrens,

There's only a very basic dataviewer in ChronoForms. ChronoConnectivity is designed to let you do much more complex things with data display. (Someone also posted a link here a few days agao about a module that let you display table entries).

Note though that PDF printing and Excel export are not directly supported in CC.
