Won't send to multiple email addresses

arkmedia 28 Jul, 2009
I had chronoforms working correctly on a site for almost a year and then I had problems saving new forms and installed the new version. Now with the new version I have just discovered that none of my forms have been getting emailed to the 2nd or 3rd email addresses in the list. These are the same lists that were working fine before, with all addresses separated by commas. I have tried using the CC and BCC and those don't work either. Please help! These forms need to be emailed to at least 2 addresses!

Hi arkmedia,

You probably have your site Global Configuration set to use the PHP Mail Function - it doesn't support CC or BCC. If that's what is happening switch to SMTP and all will be well again.

you can also add as many TO fields to your email as you need, add every new email address to a new TO box, although adding them in a list is just fine too! if only 1 email works then I suggest you try each address alone to see if they can really receive emails ? enable debug too to see how everything is going!

I tried both methods and when I changed the global settings to SMTP, I received an error when submitting the form. It said SMTP data not accepted. When I tried to put multiple TO fields it just added the second to the first and it still didn't work.

Hi,

the "SMTP data not accepted" is something more related to your SMTP config, try to ask your host admin for advice!
