So I upgraded cause I had been using an older version that stopped working when I moved to a new server.
So I downloaded and installed 3.1 RC5.3 on Joomla 1.5.10 and nothing worked. I upgraded to 1.5.13 and nothing works.
I try to create a form using the Form Wizard and I can't even drag any fields over to the form creator. Can't save - button does nothing... can't user Form Preview - button does nothing.
Dumb question but do I have to buy a license and validate it before any functionality works??? I've tried in FF and IE.
Thoughts?
Hi,
No license should be needed to get CF working. Do you think you could check the javascript/error console for any related script errors?
Any different behaviour if you try to create the form manually instead of using the wizard?

Please make sure you clean your browser and website cache after any upgrade, code changes will cause this kind of troubles!

Hi,
I just don't get why I can't even drag over an element in the form wizard.
this indicates its a cache problem, please try another browser and make sure you clear your cache, if it didn't work then you may need to reinstall, this is easy, don't uninstall first, just install over!

I have tried all of that and even updated to 3.1 RC5.5 and the SAME problem.
I'd be more than happy to create a superadmin account for one of you admins to take a look for yourself.
Hi ThatComputerDude,
By all means PM or email me a SuperAdmin account signup and the site link and I'll take a quick look and see if I can spot anything obvious.

Bob, thank you very much! I'm creating a user right now for you and will PM you the info so you can take a quick look. I've been so slammed with projects that it's taken me almost a month to come back and check this thread!
Hi ThatComputerDude,
The System- AutoRefresh plugin screws up the JavaScript. I've turned it off for the moment and the Wizard is working.
I haven't come across the Plugin before and don't really knwo what it does, but it is the culprit in this case (perhaps it can be made to run on the front-end only?)
Bob
We aren't even using the AutoRefresh so I'll just remove it all together.
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to troubleshoot that for me! What did you to to figure out that was the conflict?
Hi ThatComputerDude,
I checked the page loaded but failed to work, then looked at the JavScript Console in FireBug and saw that there was an error showing that seemed to relate to the plugin so tried turning it off to test. That's it really.
