Form Wizard edit bug

dsmflash 18 Jul, 2009
If you edit a form with the wizard, and change a value, you have to save it, which kicks you back out to forms manager instead of keeping you in the wizard. This is a simple session control issue.

Furthermore, when you go back in to check you changes, they are not saved.

Hi,

please explain,

and change a value, you have to save it,

how do you change a value and how do you "save" it ?

sorry for not being more clear.

When using the Wizard to edit an already created form, if you say add or modify anything on your form in step 1, when you click the "save" icon, the window pops up to save the form, and then it kicks you back out to the forms management screen. if you have other modifications to make, such as emails, etc., then you have to go back into the Wizard again. If the app was designed this way, no big deal, and i'm not sure if you even have to save at each step. i just like to save as i go along.

My only suggestion, and i am not a programmer, would be to make the Joomla "Apply" feature available in the Wizard if this would be possible.

I hope i explained this correctly.

Hi dsmflash,

yes, its working this way, the wizard may be "re made" to something much better, so for now we will keep it the way its!🙂

Cool. Minor compared to other issues. Thanks.
