Input my reCaptcha keys and all. Inserted {ReCaptcha} into my code. All that shows on frontend is {ReCaptcha} and not reCaptcha form.

Hi dmsflash,
Then you almost certainly haven't enabled the plugin in the Form Plugins Tab.
** Not a ChronoForms bug **

Yup. checked my form, entered my keys, and inserted the recaptha value in my form. No recaptcha. The plugin is activated and saved.
pretty simple. did everything according to instruction. Looking like a bug to me unless there is another setting somewhere.

Hi, I have just checked this with the latest release, as long as you have the plugin enabled AND configured and you saved this config then it should work fine, you should make sure you clicked "save" in the plugin config screen to save your settings!

Hi dsmflash,
Please confirm that you have enabled the plugin in the Form Plugins Tab. You don't mention that step in your reply.

yes, i enabled the plugin in the plugins tab.
i noticed this difference:
when i added the recaptcha via the text field method in the Wizard, i could not see the recaptcha, only {ReCaptcha}.
when i actually edited the html code and manually inserted {ReCaptcha}, i can now see the the recaptcha form on front.
I don't mind doing it this way as long as i know i can get ReCaptcha to work.
Thanks for the help.

I'm having this same issue only I've tried all of the above and still nothing. Plugin is activated and the code is in place. Manually typed in {ReCaptcha} and still nothing.
Hi adgrocks,
Please post a screenshot of the Plugins tab - the bar should be green. That's the only real reason why this doesn't work.

Here is a screen shot of the plugins...
The bar is not green, but there is a green check mark to show it's activated.
I have ChronoFroms on another site but it must be an older version as the plugins page looks different and ReCaptcha works just fine. I had no problems with that setup.

Any solution to this yet? It's been quite a while without a response. I really need to get this figured out.
Hi adgrocks,
The plugins interface is unfortunately somewhat misleading. A red bar means that the plugin is in fact disabled, and you should click the green check mark to enable it. You're not the first here to get confused by this...

nml375,
I would recommend against using RECAPTCHA.At this time, it will not work in IE. Your visitors will get and "Operation Aborted". RECATPCHA has some serious conflict issues with other js scripts that run with Joomla, and especially if you have a fair amount of extensions installed, which most people do. so save your self some time and avoid RECAPTCHA.
The goofs at RECAPTCHA are not doing a thing about it and there are hundreds of threads on the web about this issue.
I tried installing the jquery no conflict method and it worked for a while adn then started back up.
Although its ugly as can be, just use the Chrono captcha.
